D.N. Dube: He is an acclaimed professional photographer
specialising in aerial and still photography of archaeological
monuments. He has produced many audiovisual programs in India
and abroad including those on Taj Mahal and Khajuraho. He
has authored several books.
Ranjit Datta-Gupta: He has been
the Chief of the Photography Deptt.of Archaeological Survey
of India for 20 years. He has photographed works of art and
architecture for a number of Indian and American museums.

B.R. Grover:
Prof. Grover, former Director, ICHR, is an eminent scholar
of medieval history and his contributions to the study of
Persian and Urdu sources of history have been internationally
acknowledged.
K.S. Ramachandran:
Shri Ramachandran is a well-known author and editor of books
and journals on art and archaeological subjects with four
decades of experience.
P.C. Prasad:
Dr. Prasad has researched in historic sites and rock paintings
in Chhota nagpur and Kaimur region. He has conserved many
monuments in Santhal Pargana.
V.N. Misra:
Prof. Misra is the Director, Deccan College, Pune(deemed to
be a university for higher learning in archaeology). He has
explored and excavated extensively in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh
and Maharashtra and taught for more than 30 years. He has
been the Secretary general, World Archaeological Congress

Makkhan Lal:
Dr. Lal is Director, Field Archaeology, in the Aligarh Muslim
University. He has explored and excavated several sites in
Uttar Pradesh. He has been writing, editing and publishing
extensively in India and abroad for the last 20 years.

B.B. Lal:
Formerly, director General of Archaeological Survey of India,
Prof. Lal is an Internationally renowned field-archaeologist.
His major works include excavations at Hastinapur, Shishupalgarh,
Kalibangan, Ayodhya and Sringaverpur. He was the General President
of the World Congress-3 held at New Delhi in 1994.
K.N. Dikshit:
Shri Dikshit is a well known field archaeologist and conservator
of monuments. He was the coordinator of the expert committees
on the preservation of Jagannath temple, Puri, caves of Ajanta,
Elephanta, etc.
K.M. Srivastava:
Dr. srivastava is known for his various excavations, particularly
at Piprahwa, old Kapilvastu, Baharain island and conservation
of Ankor Vat temples in Kampuchea. He is a sholar of 40 years
of experience.
S. Konda Reddy:
Formerly Sr. Conservation Assistant, ASI, Sri Reddy is an
expert in bodily shifting ancient temples and other structures
from threatened sites to safer locations.
M.S. Mani:
He has been the leading figure in the Deptt. of Graphics,
Archaeological Survey of India. |
