Ethics and Publication Policy

 

The publication of the journal History Today is dedicated to create a forum for interdisciplinary dialogues as well as to discuss the recent advancements in the historical studies. Therefore, we welcome the submission of articles which maintained originality and highest ethical standard. All submissions for the journal are subjected to peer reviewed by independent anonymous experts of the concerned subject. The editor, after the initial evaluation, also obtains the advice of the journal’s Editorial Board, which consists of eminent scholars of concerned subject, in order to maintain excellence in publication. Authors are strongly suggested to ensure that their article should not be under consideration for publication in any other journal. If authors decide to send or publish their paper in any other journal should inform to the editor of the journal and can withdraw their articles. Authors are also encouraged to ensure the inclusion of the name of other contributors/co-authors in the articles (in the right order based on their contributions in the article) and mention the names of financial supporters, institutions while giving the acknowledgments. The editors are not responsible for the facts stated or opinions expressed are entirely of the authors /contributors. The financial supporters of the journal are also not responsible for the facts/views expressed by the authors/contributors.
