The Journal of Indian Ocean Archaeology, founded in 2004, is a peer reviewed international journal of archaeology published by the Centre for Research and Training in History, Archaeology & Palaeo-environment and Indraprastha Museum of Art and Archaeology. Both are wings of the Indian Archaeological Society. The Journal of Indian Ocean Archaeology, published annually in print format, presents high quality scholarly research drawing from the Indian Ocean region. Since 2004, the Journal of Indian Ocean Archaeology has an impressive editorial board of scholars from India and abroad. .
