How to Become a Life Member
The Indian Archaeological Society has Life Membership and Institutional Membership.
Life Membership is open to all having quested to know Indian civilisation through archaeological research and are in the related sphere.
Step 1: Scholars, who are interested to be life members, send their request by email alongwith curriculum vitae through Society’s email ID. After getting consent from Society by email, they can print the prescribed form, fill it accordingly and sign it, attach two passport size photographs and send it by post. Electronic submission or scanned copies of the form will not be accepted.
Step 2: The office will inform the acceptance of membership by email. Then the membership fee is to be sent by Cheque/Demand Draft.
The Membership Fees are:
Indians (Individual) - Rs. 5000/-
All other Countries – US $ 300.
Institutional (Indian) – 20,000/-
Updating of Information
All the life members are requested to send their updated information through email.
Note: Cheque (subject to realisation)/Demand Draft may be made in favour of The Indian Archaeological Society, Payable at Delhi.
